 LEISURE

In this poem ,the poet has criticized the modern man for his mechanical routine of life.Modern man is so busy in his material pursuits that he has no time to enjoy the beauty of Nature.He has lost his contact with Nature and its objects.
Nature offers him many pleasures but he can not pay heed to its tempting beauty because of shortage of time.

    The poet has personified beauty in the form of a beautiful girl who is ready to smile and dance but modern man ignores her tempting charms and gets busy in his daily pursuits.
The poet concludes that the life of modern is useless and drab because of his indifference to Nature.
