In this poem,the poet has enumerated the domestic chores of a char women.He has described the life routine of an American woman but she also represents the women of all the developing countries.
          The woman has to get up early in the morning.she has to look after her children,mend their clothes clean her house and purchase daily food stuff for her domestic use.she makes the children ready for school.she has to go to the fields to lend a hand to her husband in agricultural work.she has to iron the clothes of her family members.she has to cook food and serve it to her family.
