For the past few decades,this menace has been on the increase.The govt has taken some steps in this connection but there is lack of commitment on the part of relevant authorities.If the govt lets the grass gow under its feet,it will be too late to mend.
The major causes of the growing trend of ....are as under.Firstly,the widespread illiteeacy and lack of civic sense is the major cause of....
Secondly,poverty and unemployment are a contributory cause of this evil.Thirdly,lack of resources and funds prove a great hurdle in the implementation of effective policies.
Fourrhly,official red tapism and nepotism slow down the implementation of law.Fifthly,the inconstancy of govt s policies is a great hurdle in the way of progress.Owing to political instability,a govt can not complete its tenure and the development projects run by the erstwhile govt. are stopped and funds are frozen.
Now the question arises how to solve this problem?
This problem can be solved by promoting education and civic sense.Education will bring enlightenment and tolerance among the masses.It will inculcate patriotic feelings among the public.The public will take active part in nation building programmes.
The govt should frame effective economic policies to eradicate poverty and unemployment.In this way the criminal activities can be minimized.It will decrease the sense of depravition among the people.
An effective system of accountability should be implemented to promote justice and equality.
The ruling elite shuold present themselves as a model in honesty ,patriotism and fair play.
No govt ,alone ,can redress any problem unless the public cooperation is collaborated.The media,the think tanks and public will have to be on a single page to cope with this menace.
