 Novel.Q#11: The Hand.game Compitition Between the Oldman and the Negro:Ans.During his youth ,Santiago was a thin and gaunt fellow.He was at that time a very healthy and powerful fellow.During his stay at Casablanca he met a Negro.Who had come from Cientuegos.The Negro claimed to be the strong man at the docks.The both of them played hand.game to decide who was more powerful than the other.The compitition was held at the table at an inn.They sat there for one day and one night with their elbows at the table on a line .Each one of them tried his best to bring down the hand of the other fellow down on the table.The compitition hanged in the balance during the course of 24 hours.There was great betting and gambling at the match.The copmitition continued for three days .The refrees got tired and were changed after eight hours.
[23/01 8:34 AM] Talha.u: The contest went on ninterupted.In the end Santiago put so much stress on the hand of the Negro that it came down on the table.Thus the Negro was defeated by Santiago.Santiago was given the title of "The Champion".Note:Adopted and simplified from Prof.Saleem Siddique.
