Sir, I would like to draw the attention of the health department and the public towards ,the growing trend of drug.addiction among the youth.This menace has spoiled the future of our young generation .It has turned homes into hells .It has given birth to henious crimes
."Heroin.Charas,Opium Ghutka and sleeping pills are major forms of addiction among the youth.I would like to give the following suggestions to check this menace .Firstly the trend of smoking should be discouraged.Secondly the cultivation of poppy should be prohibited .Thirdly.the government should find out the solution of poverty and unemployment .Fourthly.the media should highlight the horrible consequences of this menace. : 3.A Letter to the editor about the roaring practice of quack.doctors /Fake doctors. The Editor, The news, Lahore. Subject: Roaring practice of fake.doctors in the country. Sir, The fake and unqualified doctors have opened their clinics in our rural areas.They are playing havoc with public lives.The Ministry of health is conniving at the issue.The Health Inspectors recieve monthlies and let them scot.free.Such fake.doctors continue their practice in the guise of Homeo.paths and Hakeems.They are minting money from the ignorant villagers and playing with their lives.I would like to give the following suggestions to check this henious practice .Firstly ,the govt. Should award sever punishments to the unlicenced medical practitioners.Their clinics should be sealed .Secondly,an awarness campaign should be launched on media.Thirdly,the Drug Regulatory Authority should frame a code of conduct to prevent this unhealthy practice .Fourthly,more and more govt dispensaries should be set.up in far.4lung areas and qualified doctors should be appointed there.Sweeping measures are needed to check this evil .Hoping to have an early action. 4.A Letter to the Editor for the Establishment of a dispensary in your locality. The Editor, The news, Lahore. Subject: Establishment of a dispensary. Sir, Through the columns of your esteemed daily.I would like to draw the attention of the govt towards an important problem pertaining to public health.Our village is situated at some 5km from the city.There is no Basic health unit or Civil Dispensary in our locality.Our patients have to resort to far.off hospitals in cities.Most of the people residing in our locality are farmers and they cannot afford the expenses of private hospitals.Therefore the people of our locality are in dire need of a dispansary.Where they may get their ailments cured.I hereby request the authorities concerned to provide the basic medicines and qualified doctors to the Basic Health Units. Test Labs and operation theatres should be available in our Basic Health Units.I hope the authorities will not connive at the issue. Hoping to have an early action. Yours truly, X.Y.Z
5.A Letter to the Editor about unhygenic condition of the Locality. The Editor , The News, Lahore. Subject: Unhygenic or insanitory conditions of the locality. Sir, Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to draw the attention of the govt. as well as the authorities (of the concerned )towards an important problem pertaining to public health.The insanitory conditions of A.B locality are playing havoc with the public lives .Heaps of rubbish are lying here and there.The drains are narrow and broken .They are often choked with oil papers and shopping bags .Dirty water keeps standing in ponds and pits .The sweepers of the Municipality seldom attend to their duties .Such insanitory conditions can cause fatal diseases like Hepatites.and Cholera .I would like to give some suggestions to improve the situation .Firstly, the sweepers should be compelled to wash the drains daily .Secondly ,the drains and sealed pipes should be laid .Thirdly ,the municipality should arrange for trucks to remove the dung and rubbish on regular basis .I hope the municipality and the sanitory inspectors will look into my suggestions.
